Today is an ass-picious day, indeed. Tonight’s launch of the Falcon 9 v.1.1 will include another hover test, where the engines will be re-ignited on its way back down, to bring us and the #Dragon one step closer to the world’s first spacecraft that’s as reusable as Serenity (give or take replacement catalyzers). Just as important, it’s the first time that the Falcon has been launched to the higher altitudes of geosynchronous orbit. We’ll be live-tweeting the whole time, so log in and join the shindig!
